To encourage young researchers to participate in the congress, bursaries will be awarded to selected applicants whose submitted abstracts demonstrate exceptional scientific quality.
These bursaries are designed to assist recipients with expenses related to attending the congress.
Eligibility for a bursary requires - submission of both an abstract and a bursary application. Applications must be made through the bursary application submission system, where you will have to enter your submitted abstract reference number, which is a mandatory requirement for submission of your bursary application, devoid of which your bursary application will not be considered for evaluation.
Applications for bursaries will only be accepted via the online bursary application submission system for the congress.
Applicants must be 40 years of age or younger at the time of application. A copy of the applicant’s passport or ID must be included to verify the date of birth.
A short personal statement of not more than 300 words must be provided, explaining the relevance of attending the congress to the applicant’s current role or activities in the field of child neurology. The statement should also include reasons for requiring financial assistance and why the application merits consideration.
A signed reference letter supporting the application is required. This may be from a local AOCNA national delegate, Head of the Department, or another relevant authority.
Applicants must declare any additional funding secured for Congress attendance, including the source and nature of the funding.
Only one bursary per presenting author will be awarded.
Bursary applications will only be considered if submitted within the deadline of 15th April 2025, 23.59 hrs IST.
Attendance for the congress is mandatory in order to receive the bursary.
Financial support
Candidates selected for bursary will be granted free registration to the Congress, and 500 USD. Further details will be notified later to the bursary recipient.
